🪶miRNA + miRDB

MicroRNAs or miRNAs are regulators of gene expression, therefore overexpressed miRNAs-->overexpress corresponding gene targets --> cause particular disease.

To analyze particular miRNAs, you can use miRDB:

miRDB - miRNA Target Miningmirdb.org

Steps to take

1. Click on Target Mining on the left tab

2. Click on Search miRNAs for gene targets

3. Select species for Humans

4. Copy around 10 top overexpressed genes from your spreadsheet and paste them into the search bar and click on go.

5. The database will output a table with corresponding overexpressed miRNAs which you can further analyze.
